Longtan West Lake regulation and storage project, as an important demonstration project for water storage, flood prevention and water treatment in Beijing, has completed the construction of the main project and has been actually put into use in the flood season in 2021. It has stored water for five times (2000 cubic meters on July 3, 50000 cubic meters on July 12, 12000 cubic meters on July 22, 25000 cubic meters on August 6 and 7000 cubic meters on August 10). The cumulative water storage is 97000 cubic meters, It has played a key role in eliminating urban waterlogging in the surrounding areas.

Chairman Qin Shengyi introduced the construction of Longtan West Lake project to the leaders participating in the investigation, and conducted on-site sampling of inlet and outlet water and comparison of water quality. According to the results of water quality test data, the contents of SS, COD, total phosphorus, ammonia, nitrogen and other pollutants in the water sample at the outlet are significantly reduced.

The leaders participating in the investigation had a detailed understanding of the project progress, technical scheme and actual effect of Longtan West Lake regulation and storage project, and had a good understanding of Renchuang's "three governance simultaneously and five in one" (three governance simultaneously: "waterlogging, drought and pollution", and five in one: "pollution interception, peak regulation, water storage, purification We fully affirm the comprehensive urban waterlogging prevention and water treatment solutions of "water use", and encourage Renchuang technology group to continue to increase scientific research investment, develop and promote independent innovative technologies, so as to make greater contributions to flood control and waterlogging prevention and green ecological construction in the capital.
